Referral/Conference Submission Opportunity: Sent PB manuscript 4/02. Received reply 4/19 from agent saying she loved the story, and would like to see more. Sent Full Request 5/02. Stefanie emailed on 5/03 saying she loved the work, and arranged to meet via Zoom to discuss working together. After our meeting, she emailed saying she decided not to offer rep as she didn't see herself as the best fit for my work.

@makbryant

She's been on my To-Query List, however in the meantime, I have sent stuff to two other Ladderbird agents and received much quicker responses. (MS requests in both cases, one pretty quick rejection from Allegra (11 days total for query and partial, urban fantasy isn't their thing), and one is still being reviewed. So like Varsha said, if you want to wait, she might still get back to you, her Twitter looks busy/active. But if there's someone else who really seems like a better fit, they might get back to you faster. You could also withdraw and then R&R later.

@makbryant - I received a full request from her after nine months, so unless you'd like to query someone else at Ladderbird, I would say there's no harm in keeping this open. I should also say that I haven't heard back either, though. Three months after I sent her the full, she asked for more material, which I sent. I haven't heard back yet, but I haven't withdrawn. I don't have much hope, but withdrawing it is like closing a door that isn't doing me any harm left open.

I submitted an FQ on 08/16/2022, and I have yet to hear anything back. Should I withdraw my query since it's been 189 days? Any advice would be appreciated :)
