Bailey was the first agent I queried, and months later, I now have several rejections under my belt, a vastly-improved pitch (and bio, and elevator line), and a better grasp on the target audience. If she responds, she responds. If she doesn't, she doesn't. I don't have anything to lose, and I figured I'd give it a shot given all the improvements to my query and the time that's passed. Here goes nothing! :)
@HarpyWalllace & @writing4life: Keep in mind, she doesn't have to respond to our queries. It even says in her sub guidelines that she will get in touch only if she wants to offer rep (which makes sense since she asks for the full right off the bat). I think it's pretty unfair to question her worth as an agent just from a lack of responding.
Also, she's only been acquiring clients since Mar 30, 2021? Is it really that odd to not have clients within a year?

Should have closed this one months ago as it says on her guidelines to give her about 30 days or consider it a pass

Sent a nudge on 9/28; it's been almost 2 weeks since. I'm still holding out on hope, but odds are it's a CNR. I won't mark it as such yet since some agents can take 5+ months to respond...so I'll just move on mentally and continue querying other agents in the meantime.
COVID's really messed with agents/publishers. It's possible that she's just really behind; that's my hope, at least. I still have high hopes that she'd like my submission since it aligned with 95-percent of what her page said she loves, but you never know, the story just might not be her cup of tea, haha.
The agency tweeted that Bailey was open to queries on March 30 of this year. Maybe that's why she's not on Publisher's Marketplace as a full agent yet?
