Just posted on Twitter that he is closed. Does not mention when he will re-open to queries:

"I wasn't intending it so quickly, but I am closing to submissions again. If I have currently received your query, you will receive a response. Unfortunately, any submissions I receive while closed will not be considered."

Just a heads up that I will be closed to queries after Friday, April 22. I have a lot of quality projects that deserve attention.

Jared's rejection letter was personalized, honest, and helpful. He gave me a couple tips for improvement and was open to me re-submitting down the road once my revisions were completed. It took him a little while to respond but I wasn't treated like a number.
