Rachel just rejected my full MS, but nonetheless I highly recommend querying her. She wrote me such a personalised rejection, and it was abundantly clear that she had put a great deal of time into considering my book. Although I am sad not to work with her, this process is so much easier when my work is in the hands of people as thoughtful and careful as she is.

Just realised that for some agents with very low reply rates, it could be due to many of us here not querying them.

Kind rejection: 3 weeks later, with an apology for the delay and explaining that she was on leave. (I wasn't even expecting a response for another two months!)
As long as your manuscript fits what Rachel is looking for, I would suggest querying her. She is absolutely lovely and from all accounts, very, very smart.

UPDATE: Never got an answer from them, but this time when I tried, I noticed two full stops in my email address. Once that was corrected, it went through. I guess that must have happened last time, but I can't believe I didn't see it or repeated the error multiple times. Hey ho. At least I got to submit my query in the end.
