Only just learning today that she's left the business. Yikes, that's quite a backlog for those who've queried her since almost a year ago.

Heads up for anyone querying this agent. I got an email today after sending in my query a few weeks ago.

"Dear Quiarah,

Thank you for your query. Unfortunately, I have decided to leave the publishing business so I won't be able to read (insert title of work). I wish you all the best in finding enthusiastic representation and thank you for thinking of me."

Seems abrupt and a bit sad, but she's no longer in the business as it stands.

Tweet, don't query two agents at the same agency, unless you hear back from an agent with a response. And then another agent here later. Small agencies share queries with one another. You can get an instant rejection over here. Wait another week, since the 3 week response time haven't ended yet. Please read the agency submission guidelines.

To determine the possibility of a response from an agent, click on the reports tab and check responses. That will give you a view of how the agent responds. Ms Taylor has more non response than rejections. However, she does send rejections. I closed my query to her as a non response.

Do all queries receive an auto-response? I sent one yesterday and have not received any sort of response yet.

I was wondering if I should close this out as no response, but there website doesn't indicate if they respond, and their auto-reply says to be patient. So patient, I shall be.

I agree 250 is hard. On the other hand, with that as a requirement they can't expect eloquence either.

@Nikola - By all means, LOL! If I get a positive response, we can all celebrate later :)
