I find it interesting that there's no mention of her ANYWHERE since she went MIA. No statement on the agency website, no mention of her on Twitter, nothing on Google... Niet. Nada.

Turhan, she appears to be MIA right now.

Thanks catspane. That's very interesting. Sometimes, when a large group of agents leave an agency all at once, it could mean they are starting their own agency. We'll just have to wait and see.

I'll just mark her as closed until I can learn more.

Huh. Thanks for pointing all that out, Saatek, Thulsa_Doom and catspane... She totally is gone from the FinePrint site... I guess I'm closing this one as "no response ever and agent may be dead." That's a new one for me.

Sad and curious, all at once. Sigh.

Hey, Patrick! Fine Print has apparently had a shake up 'cause you've got nine agents listed there and as of today they only have 5.

There's an interesting (recent) article on Janet Ried's blog on agents who go MIA or lose the plot - apparently it's quite a common thing!

I called to find out. I got a fairly vague answer. I get the sense that she just went MIA and they don't know much more than we do. I could be wrong. I was told that they're looking into it...

You know, she's disappeared from agenting before. Back when she was Rachel Vater. Kind of shocked it may be happening again, though. Hmm.

I can't find her bio on the Fineprint website--does anyone know what happened to her?

Sorry to hear maansi88! I'm going to send one more wee nudge about my partial, but needless to say I'm not holding my breath. It's really too bad. By all accounts, she used to be very responsive and helpful in the past. I wonder what's changed.

Shame about that Mani88, normally for a full I would look at 6 months turnaround but if someone is a CNR non-responder it's probably worth your sanity to close it early.

nudge 1/28/2014
nudge again 2/15/2014

Kinda rude, actually. It takes all of ten seconds to say no thanks. Especially after being so enthusiastic.

She seems to be CNR on a looooot of queries. I wonder what her response time is on submitted materials. I followed up with her about a full that I pitched to her at a conference, (almost hitting the 4 month mark now) and haven't heard anything yet. She really seems like a great fit for me, I want this to work...
