Since there have been no updates to this agent I wanted to pass-along my experience with Robert (bob) Thixton and Pinder lane.
I originally submitted 3 chapters to him in late 16, he was very courteous and stated he was wary of infringement.
Taking his comment to heart I proceeded to a full re-write, and as I must admit a lot of studying as I am an un-educated (in the literary sense) writer.
After much learning and a total re-write I asked to re-submit, his reply was yes (even after a year had passed).
After submitting the first three chapters to him, I received a phone call from him the following day requesting the full and an exclusive. He stated he wanted his in-house editor to review the novel and share his thoughts, which I granted.
The next week I was signed with him.
That was 2/18 and I have recently submitted to him the second novel in the series.
I feel very lucky to be signed with him especially considering my limitations: 62 year old Marine, un-published and with limited writing knowledge (still working on that last part through, a lot of studying).
I also wish to thank query tracker for their assistance in landing me a great agent.
Sincerely, KJ

EQ 2/23/18 (Diplomatic Immunity)
ER 8/3/18 (Passed after a couple of nudges in mid-move--not right for him, not compelled enough to read further)

:-)

10/26/12: 3/12/12 I sent him a snail mail query for Chain Reaction. Two weeks ago, I sent him a very belated nudge via email. No response. I'll retry him in 2013 when he's open.

Thanks White Gardenia and Dragon. That's the one I got from the Guide of Literary Agents and Agentquery.com. Okay, I'll nudge him today and see what happens with both email addresses. WG, thanks for pointing out the typo. I'll report back, even if I did send them a message via their contact us page on their website.

Update: it went through to both emails I sent it to. I'll let you know if I get a response from Dick. Thanks.

@dragonov22, are you repped by Bob Thixton?

If it were only THAT easy! It took me about six months of constant hounding...I know some people never land one, but when you do, it feels amazing! Just keep on it...you'd be surprised how much timing can hurt or help you.

I wish the prize was an offer of representation... lol
