:-)

10/26/12: 3/12/12 I sent him a snail mail query for Chain Reaction. Two weeks ago, I sent him a very belated nudge via email. No response. I'll retry him in 2013 when he's open.

Thanks Dragon. No reply yet from the agency. When I do, I'll let you know on the response. Thanks for the help--you too WG.

Thanks White Gardenia and Dragon. That's the one I got from the Guide of Literary Agents and Agentquery.com. Okay, I'll nudge him today and see what happens with both email addresses. WG, thanks for pointing out the typo. I'll report back, even if I did send them a message via their contact us page on their website.

Update: it went through to both emails I sent it to. I'll let you know if I get a response from Dick. Thanks.

@dragonov22, are you repped by Bob Thixton?

If it were only THAT easy! It took me about six months of constant hounding...I know some people never land one, but when you do, it feels amazing! Just keep on it...you'd be surprised how much timing can hurt or help you.

I wish the prize was an offer of representation... lol

Haha good call, WhiteGardenia! I didn't even notice that.

@angelscribe
it's an "L" -- not a "1" ;)

That's the wrong e-mail! I e-mailed this address: pinderl@interport.net when I first queried Bob in May and got a response 25 minutes later. Try that address!

I will. I'm nudging him now.

Same issue: Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:

pinder1@rcn.com

Technical details of permanent failure:
Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the recipient domain. We recommend contacting the other email provider for further information about the cause of this error. The error that the other server returned was: 550 550 #5.1.0 Address rejected. (state 14).

----- Original message -----

Maybe I should send him a letter instead? I sent my nudge via their website and told them about the 550 error message--I'm not a spammer but an author who's querying them.
