That's interesting.

Looks like Jamie Brenner is now a full-time author, repped by the agency. She's no longer agenting.

Good information to know. I've gotten NR from everyone here at this agency.

Just did some sleuthing. Saw this post from 2/28/12 on AW:

Looks like it was Brianne Mulligan, not Jamie Brenner, who left agenting.

@DrCarter, unfortunately, no, I never found an agent. It was such a comedy of errors last fall that I took a break from querying over the winter. I started sending out queries this past month. Hopefully this time around I'll find the perfect agent. Hope you do, too.

thanks nikki, glad I checked here again before writing, though. Just for clarification: Jamie had my full medical thriller ms and now I have a PB I want to query Mary.

I'll try sending Jamie a nudge today and if I don't hear back by next week, I'll query Mary for the PB.
BTW nikki, I've been away from QT for a while; did you ever find a new agent for your medical thriller?

Hester, you may be right. I just went back and checked the success post, and it seems she was repped by Jamie before the merger, and Brianne after. And Brianne is no longer listed on the website.

Sorry, Dr. Carter, for steering you wrong. But I don't think anyone would fault you if you queried someone else for your PB after 7 months with no response to nudging.

Hi guys!

I could be wrong, but I thought it was Brianne Mulligan (also at Movable Type) who got pregnant and left agenting, not Jamie Brenner...

Wow! That would have been nice to report on their website (it still lists Jamie and doesn't list Mary as an agent). I guess I can close this one out then and query Mary for my PB. Thanks for letting me know!

Betina, you're right. Jamie Brenner has left the business. A QT member repped by her reported it in the forums.

Just read a post from a qt member on the forum who I believe was repped by Jamie. If I'm reading it correctly, Ms. Brenner became pregnant and quit the business? Or perhaps it was another agent in this agency? I think I recall something about this qt'er having a team of agents at this agency.

Good luck Dr. Carter. I've gotten NRs from everyone here in this agency for both mss.

I agree with you cbuggs, but, that being said, I've gotten several NR's on both partials and fulls, which has been extremely frustrating.

I did hear back from Annie Bomke (who is still not on QT; Patrick, can you look into adding her?) after Cupid's Agent Invasion on my full, and she loved most of it, but thought the characters needed more "depth" and the writing to be more vivid, so I need to look over some more examples and see how I can improve it before resubmitting (she did offer an R&R), but I'm finishing a couple of other projects first.

DrCarter2001, You should ALWAYS get a response on a full request. In fact, ditto on a partial. Only queries get a NR. NRs on a full or partial is the epitome of bad professionalism. JMHO
