Has a great reputation, but judging from the timeline, only replies when interested -- and then usually very quickly.

My guess would be that it's because, accordingly to the query response time data, she has only requested 3 things in the last year, and they were all very fast (0-5 days, average 3).
I still would give it a couple weeks rather than a few days, but that might be why some people are making that decision.

If the website says 8 to 10 weeks is a pass, then why are so many people on the time line marking their queries as closed/didnotreply after a few days. What am I missing?

Personalized rejection--with a bit of feedback, which I really appreciated. Wish it would have been a yes, she seems really wonderful.

Ms. Poelle is the kindest agent! We had some back-and-forth emails a few years ago, and I was taken then by her personal touch. Today, I received a personal rejection with a recommendation to try another great agent (already on my shortlist) and use her name as a referral :) Very much appreciated.
