The instructions say the "query letter" should include a brief synopsis (and then the first 20 pages). Would this be the short blurb that is part of a query letter or does it require more?

Submtted query in October 2016. Literary 80K.

She asked for a Full in Jan 2017. Fingers crossed. I thought I'd let people here know that Ellen does respond, since the messages below indicate otherwise.

Also I need to tell you that while sending the full I sent the wrong version. I only realized this the next day, and shot off an email with apology and the correct version. Nina Cochran gave a nice and reassuring reply that no harm was done and they'd review the new version. So my experience is very positive.
