studio1 -- congratulations on the positive feedback. It sounds like the comments he gave you were helpful in your revisions. so, even though he didn't accept your mss or ask for more pages, it overall seems like a positive experience. I cling to such feedback myself!

This was a few months ago: He read a partial, said he really liked it, and asked for a week with the full manuscript before sending it to anyone else. Came back a week later to say it wasn't for him. I've revised significantly since then. Readers have given top reviews where they didn't before, so it looks like it wasn't ready when he looked at it. I don't have the sense it would help to resend to Andy, however, so I'm querying others.
