According to website, The Literary Group International merged under Folio Management. This agent was not listed as making the transition into Folio.

Rejected: 10/22 from Alexandra Avvocato.

Very nice letter:

Thank you for your submission. I found your premise original, and ___ was intriguing. Due to the high number of submissions we receive we're only able to represent a few works, and I'm sorry to say we won't be able to represent ___ at this time. Thank you again for considering us, and good luck on your future writing.

Dryad, are you in the United States?
I've always wanted to submit to UK literary agents, but I'm not sure if that's even acceptable.

Dryad, I used to write poems about angels, when my grandfather died, a few years ago. It's also my former screen handle for emails too. I just haven't changed it yet, if there's a way to change it. Requeried Chain Reaction--closed late fall.

Dryadwriter, Hang in there! I feel your pain. I full rejected, two partials passed on all in one week. It's tough.

Passed today and gave a few reasons why, mainly that they felt my novel needed more world building and they wished me luck moving forward. This comes on the same day I heard back from the Park Literary Group who passed on my full... The Blair Partnership is the last agency I'm waiting to hear from. Fingers crossed! If THEY pass too, I'm gonna rewrite my novel and reformat my query letter too... Fingers crossed.

Thanks angelscribe! Btw, I just realized our screennames are similar- they're both about mythological/religious creature, which (I'm assuming) you write about as I do.

@KimHarnes- Thanks, but no thanks! haha. I forgot to mention, I'm a broke college student. lol
