12/8 ER- Ouch! Well at least it was not a form letter.
"Thank you for your query. Unfortunately, the market for personal memoirs is increasingly difficult to enter, especially for first-time authors, who must set themselves apart with either a notable media platform or exceptional writing. I’m afraid I won’t be able to take this on for representation, but I wish you all the best finding the right agent and publisher for your work.

Queried 4/1/15, Literary Fiction
Rejected 4/10/15

"Thank you for your query. Unfortunately, Ms. Park can only take on only one or two fiction projects a year, and I just didn’t feel this one was for her. I wish you all the best finding the right agent and publisher for your work."

Query on 01/22/2014. Automated response: "Thank you for your query. Due to the high volume of queries we receive, we ask that you please allow several weeks to months for a response. Thank you for your patience."

That would indeed seem to require a lot of patience!
