Contemporary Romance, 70k

Rejection was an attached letter, probably a form, in response to the 50 pages I sent as per their website guidelines.

"Thank you for sending the partial of your manuscript, BOOK NAME. Unfortunately, I am going to have to decline asking to see more of this manuscript. While I liked many elements of this project, ultimately, I just was not as enthusiastic about the story as I would need to be to pursue taking it on for representation. Please keep in mind that this is a very subjective business, and others might feel differently. My client list has become quite full, so I'm being very particular when reviewing submissions. I am accepting new projects for representation on a very selective basis at this time. Therefore, I encourage you to continue submitting BOOK NAME elsewhere. Thanks for thinking of our agency. I wish you the best with BOOK NAME and your future writing career."

*Update*
I thanked her for her time and response, and she replied with this:
"You're very welcome. Even if it's not something for us, we understand that writing is a passion, and much work and love go into a writer's project. Best to you with your writing."
She seems like a sincerely caring agent! :)

EQ: 3.18.18
ER: 3.19.18 (under 24 hrs)
95k women's fiction with elements of suspense
Polite rejection informing me that they focus on women's genre romance novels. Good to know since I didn't see this info anywhere else!

"Unfortunately, I'm going to have to decline pursuing representation of this project. While it sounds like there is much of merit in your work, we're not generally handling this type of material. We are mainly concentrating on women's genre romance novels, an area in which we have expertise and have been most successful. This project doesn't appear to be within the specific guidelines of genre romance.

Thanks for thinking of my agency. I wish you success in locating someone to represent this manuscript and finding a fine publishing house."

Very nicely-worded rejection letter. Seemed personalized, yet no real feedback given, so not helpful. Probably a form letter.

6/6 ER Nicely stated rejection stating work has merit but doesn't fit criteria. They're more interested in romance. Maybe they send this to every client, if so that's a nice response.

Hi Voxeterna1,
Her AAR profile is the only thing I've found. It's listed here in the Main tab.

Question: this agent doesn't seem to have a website? I've never run into that before. I see the guidelines listed here, but before I query I would like to check in with their website at least. Does anyone know if she has one?
