Winnie/Alicia --
Since there are a number of us (me, Alicia, bestseller, kdwriter and possibly some others below) who should be before you if she goes chronologically, I guess she doesn't. Mine has been with her since January, and kdwriter's has been with her since December.

I have no clue, other than the email she sent me. But I’ll wait. I’m not in a hurry :)

Alicia, I think, from the way she worded it regarding her queue, that she has them in order of submission and she is currently on March/ April, and if I did sent my slightly revised manuscript it would have to go to the back of her queue. All that to say, you’re probably in the batch she’s working on now and it was delayed because you sent her the revision. Still better to have sent the revision and wait a bit longer if she has your best work to consider :)

I offered to send a slightly updated version thinking it was going to be months, based on some small edits. she said not to worry, she wasn't going to pass based on that, and that unless it was substantial, she'd rather not mess up the queue as mine is next. not sure what to make of that, but I wish I'd left well enough alone. I submitted it the beginning of April...

I've had a full with her since 1/8. I nudged on 4/12, and she responded the same day saying that she hadn't gotten to it yet, but that she hoped to in the next few weeks. I'm probably going to nudge again some time in June if I haven't heard back. But it seems like she might be really backed up based on the comments below. I'll gladly give her more time if she needs it.

@alicia I think it’s a very good sign she’s held onto it all this time, and that she’s looking at your revised mss. I think no news is good news!

I've had a full manuscript out with Deidre since July 2017, and I sent her an updated full in March 2018. However, based on her Timeline data, I appear to be an outlier. Deidre is great at checking in occasionally to let me know she hasn't forgotten. (I figure that, at least, the manuscript is not an easy "no" for her.) And she's worth the wait. Fingers still crossed! :)

I've had a full out with her since 11/8/17. I nudged yesterday and she replied today with an apology that it's taking so long and she hopes to get to it soon.

It couldn’t hurt! She must be interested if she’s holding onto it this long. Good luck :)

Winnie12, I nudged in late March and got this response: "Thanks for checking in. I actually have the full, but have not been able to dig in more yet. Please just keep me posted as things move along."

It's been another two months since then, but I'm unsure if I should nudge again.

kdwriter, I think you should nudge. The website suggests nudging after 4-8 weeks. It says current response times are 6-8 weeks and you’re at 5 months!

Winnie, I do. Been out since early December.
