PitMad request of synopsis & 1st 3 chapters 6/7 (adult fantasy set in Paris)

Lovely rejection 6/12: doesn’t have the right fiction contacts to place this, but loves writing and concept, thinks I’ll be “snapped up”! Sounds like she’d be wonderful to work w. Made my day.

From her website today 10/5 "We are not currently looking for new fiction clients, but we are considering well crafted non-fiction."

Received a British agent's offer of representation today!

Sent query May 29. They asked for full June 9. Offer of representation June 20!

Thought you'd like to see my query stats since I started on February 16:

9 Pending, 1 Partial, 1 full(and subsequent offer), 10 No Response, 12 Rejections, for a total of 33 queries.

Keep submitting! Never give up!

Prompt next-day R:

"I'm afraid this isn't right for me, but do try other agencies in THE WRITERS' AND ARTISTS' YEARBOOK.

Best wishes,

A nice suggestion, but I found this website to be a far more helpful resource:

Oh, and she does accept e-queries.

Immediate rejection, but politely phrased, 'not her kind of thing.." At least there was a response.
