@josullivan That helps - I believe I will resubmit through the form then. Thank you!

@mberliner, I sent mine on May 8. She asked me to resubmit to Josh or Tracey via the online form. I suspect you may want to do that as well. Good luck!

@josullivan - when did you send your submission? I'm asking because on 7/6, I sent my full to Quinlan as a result of a request at the NJSCBWI Conf.
On 7/20, all of those that attended the conference were told that Quinlan had left Adams (and agenting all together to pursue other interests) and that we should send our subs to Tracey or Josh. I'm just not sure if Quinlan has already passed my ms on to them or not, and have been debating whether to nudge at the submissions addy or start the whole process all over again with Tracey or Josh. So, it's encouraging that you got an answer (of sorts) from Quinlan and would help if I knew if your sub was before or after 7/6.
Good luck in your querying by the way!

In regard to my submission, I just got a note from Quinlan today saying that she is no longer agenting- thought I'd pass this info along.

Just checked the Adams Literary website for Quinlan Lee's profile, and she's not listed anymore. Is she gone now? Anyone know?

Does Quinlan still work at the Adams Agency? I had an offer of rep and went to let her know since it was still in the 6 week window since my query, but she seems to have been scrubbed from the website.

Does anyone know if they ever don't respond to requested fulls? Just curious...

What did you put for "Subject" on the form? I'm assuming the genre (as opposed to age level, which they ask for below), but you know what assuming leads to...

ETA: I ended up just going with genre.

FORM Q: 2/12
CNR: 4/10

This rejection-by-no-response is the fault of the author entirely. It was only my second attempt at sending a query and I was not exactly poised as I navigated their form. Pasted in my previous agent query and then accidentally hit send without fully editing it. So upset with myself as I really admire two of her writers, but live and learn. DON'T PASTE INTO FORMS, people! Edit in word first and then copy and paste. Duh.

Janet, I didn't get a response after I sent my full, either. I don't think she confirms.

On the plus side, she at least took the time to send the rejection, even though their website says they won't respond unless interested.
