CNR: 6/18/22
Her website says 4-6 weeks.
There was a little line at the bottom of the form when I submitted that said "Thanks for submitting" when the form emptied. Easily overlooked.
CNR: 04/22/22
I just noticed that her website (nextlevellit.com) states she does not accept email queries. I'd queried her via email on 11/17/21 based on the Publishers Marketplace info. Requerying using the website submissions form now.
Adult Rom-Com, 75k words
"I'm looking for voices reflecting the world as it changes and stories sharing the human experience of life, love, growth, and achievement.
A New York City native who lives for art, culture, I'm always seeking inspiration through creativity and connection. I love working with authors who have a clear vision of who they are and what they came here to do. I believe there is so much to learn from reading about other's experiences because the intimacy of reading allows us to absorb new ideas in our own time and without outside judgment. Also love a book for escape and fun please! Food, culture, music, personal stories, social justice, intimate narratives with a compelling voice? I'm in.
Currently adding to both my fiction and non-fiction lists in both YA and adult categories, I'm looking for: smart pop-culture, social justice, current events, fashion/style, health & wellness, self-help, memoir, essays, pop business, tech, and science. For fiction: commercial adult and YA: coming-of-age, humor, dark and edgy stories, and new, original voices."
