EQ 2/8/2020 YA Contemporary 72K (I see now, 20 days after the fact, that QueryTracker says they're closed to queries, but I didn't see that anywhere on their website at the time I submitted; also, his Twitter profile no longer says closed to queries so …?)

EQ: 10/1/2019. Graphic Memoir.
I sent a general submission on their website, but addressed it to him. According to QueryTracker he's been closed to queries for two years, seems like a long time, so I figured I'd at least try and send just in case.

Sent a query on 7/8 I just sent him a nudge (9/10), which he suggests you do if you haven't heard from him in 8-10 weeks. Mine included the updated genre and new first pages. CNR 10/30

Submitted a query on Friday afternoon with my proposal, received a response same day, asking if we can talk on the phone early next week. Tuesday morning comes, an interview took place and an offer was made, received an email of the standard agency agreement. Taken aback how fast this invitation took place, he was the second agent who responded same day I queried. Had to nudge quickly to other reading agents with a one week deadline to counter.

Update: After mulling over several offers for representation, I decided to go with Charlie and haven´t regretted the decision. :-)

Full request 4/9/15. Almost a year later and no response after two nudges. Based on others' experiences, I'm not holding my breath for a response. NR on a full request is always painful.
