Sonia was ever-so-briefly my agent, back in 08, I think it was.

Then she contacted me and said that due to some family circumstances she was leaving the industry indefinitely.

I have never seen her name pop up again. I do hope she comes back though. She was lovely.

Wow. Thanks for the info.

After 8 months, (spring of 08) she requested all of my work and set up a time to call me. We had a lovely chat and she told me she was really interested in one of my novels.

I never heard from her again.

AgentQuery says she wants a one page query, first ten pages of manuscript, and SASE by mail.

BillyShakespear makes an interesting point. The AgentQuery doesn't jive with QueryTracker's Genres tab breakdown. The AgentQuery blurb also seems to contradict her genre preferences to a certain degree. Rather confusing.

Sonia Pabley does indeed accept fiction. In fact, she's requested two of my middle grade novels.

Although found when searching for agents who accept crime mysteries I discovered on the site that she a)does not accept most genre fiction and, even if an email address is available, she b)prefers snail mail queries.
