So I'm closing this out myself because I've been following her on Twitter and have come to the conclusion that she's BSC. Definitely not for me.

Nicest rejection to date:
Thank you for considering Fuse Literary in your search for representation. I appreciate you giving me the opportunity to review your work. Unfortunately, it is not right for my list. I held onto it because I was intrigued but ultimately if it's not an immediate yes then I have to pass. I like the writing here but the premise feels a bit quiet. However, I wish you the best luck in your search for the right agent (and hope to see you in print soon).

Form response, not right for her list.

Sounds to me like she was just making a joke. Nothing to panic over.

@chrisaerith Wow that's ridiculous... my query is in there somewhere. I know it's probably a joke but it's kind of insulting.

Going through her twits before deciding to query and I came across something like this-->

Her March 14 twit: "UPDATE. Failure. I'm at 160 and it's 6pm. I need to reject FASTER. Maybe not even read them, just based on whether I think the author names are cool."

Wth. This person is going into my do-not-query list.

@tnearwoman: if it helps any, it took her 89 days to send me a rejection. She added the comment "I held onto it because I was intrigued but ultimately if it's not an immediate yes then I have to pass."

So I'm sure I was in the maybe folder, but she didn't feel like it was worth repping.

Golden one, thanks, a maybe folder would be nice.

@tbearwoman: I don't think she responds in chronological order. She also has a Maybe folder, so you might be in there.

I can see that she has responded to 16 queries that were sent after mine. I'm wondering if mine did not go through. Did anyone get an auto-response indicating that she received your query? I never got one from her, but not all agencies send them.
