Queried her today and got an auto reply that said she is closed to submissions until at least February.

I agree with munchi5gal. i think it means simultaneous submissions. I have queried different agents here with the same manuscript, but always one at a time. After I get a response from one agent, I feel free to query another there. I have received responses, albeit negative, in most cases, stating that the manuscript is not for them. I wish they would specifically say, as some agencies do, that you are free to query another if the first one passes, or, if they specifically share in house. I have learned over the last four years of querying that there are "rules," yet there are no rules. Who is to say what they reject one year that they won't like the next year, especially if you have revised it? But, that's another subject.

@Nichole_E and @munchi5gal,
My understanding of this type of policy is that the agency shares submissions in-house. You don't need to query everyone who might fit, because they'll have already seen it. However, I have no personal experience to verify this particular agency's practices. Hope that helps!

Nicole that sounds to me like they mean simultaneous multiple submissions. (Opinions, anyone?)
