How nice for an agent to let everyone know what is happening.

At least this way those with part/fulls out will know where they stand and those wanting to send QL's know to wait.

I seem to have created a fine mess. I apologize for the confusion. I am temporarily closed to queries and submissions. I am going on the road for a month and will use the time in the van to read the manuscripts I have on hand. And since I will have my computer with me, I will continue to send our material for my current clients. I will post here when I return.

Received a very detailed edit of a portion of my initial submission, which was extremely helpful. Cannot believe she took the time to do that. A wonderful agent! Rejected , but very awesome feedback

Hi Joyce. I guess Venom or Chain Reaction didn't appeal to you, when I subbed them to you. That's okay. Yeah, we're proud of him here.

Q: 6/9/12
Request for full: 6/9/12
Nudge with offer of rep.: 7/17/12
Counter offer of representation: 7/18/12
Offer accepted: 7/27/12

Joyce has been really really good through all of this, and Bob Diforio is highly respected in the publishing industry. It was a really tough decision between the 3 offers. I hardly got any sleep!

I appreciate the opportunity to look at your query. Unfortunately I am swamped with submissions at the moment and feel I must devote my time to current clients. I wish you success in finding an agent to represent your manuscript. Thank you for thinking of D4EO Literary Agency.

Very best,

Ms. Holland is in my "People you want to meet while your ALIVE file".

Her Continued Guidance is invaluable and selfless. It's amazing finding a "meat and potatoes" type of person, which is my highest compliment, after years of "foot on neck" disease inflicted by persons known and unknown.
