I sent my query via email and it bounced back saying it was blocked. Has anyone had this problem? I used my gmail account. Thank you :)

Thank you WillowInc and monicakilgore; I think I'll try again from my yahoo account. It made me wonder if some of my emails have been going to spam folders because most of my queries have been skipped over by agents. Hopefully not.

@lemontree Mine was blocked as well but it finally went through after a few tries (I hope they didn't get annoying multiple submissions tho').

Webpage guidelines say not to submit to more than one agent there simultaneously, which is standard.

But they also say, IN BOLD LETTERS:
if you don’t receive a response to your query within 4-6 weeks it means a no from the agency.

[ Apparently, not just from that one agent you've already submitted to]
So, if you get rejected by one agent, no other agent there wants to hear from you on that particular manuscript.

From Twitter:
A reminder that we're a "no response means no" agency now, so we reply in 4-6 weeks if we're interested and if you don't hear back you can move on quickly (instead of waiting in limbo).
3rdAugust: A newsworthy announcement: I am caught up on queries. Yes, you heard that right. Fully caught up. Requests to go out shortly. I take your submissions very seriously & read every single one that's addressed to me

Don't usually submit queries to agents who are outside the U.S. but I like this agency based on their Twitter presence and that they rep debut authors.

Per her post on twitter no response in 4 - 6 weeks means they're not interested.

CNR: 7/6/18 - Closing it out because agent timeline shows someone who queried the same day received a partial request on 6/26. Thanks to everyone who's recording queries in the tracking system. It helps with the uncertainty when dealing with "No response means no" agents.

AAuthor- I queried on April 19, having not seen the new requirements. Maybe I should just CNR it.
