Always verify agent's information before sending your query. Verify the agent's query preferences, contact information, genres of interest, and if the agent is still open to queries.

Although QueryTracker tries to stay current, it is not always easy. Never trust any single source for agent information (and yes, this includes QueryTracker).

Review the user comments for more information, and always follow exactly what it says on the agent's website.

And NEVER give money to an "agent".

Leave comments about your experiences with this literary agent, or read what other authors have to say.

On Friday I requeried Samantha Shea with Venom--today I've heard back from her--not a right fit for her. I'll try her this summer with Chain Reaction.

Dear Author,

Thank you for your query. However, I don’t think this project is quite right for my list and will, therefore, have to step aside.

Best of luck,

Samantha Shea
