On the edge of 12 weeks, as is the company's response time. I hope to hear from her soon. You can only query one agent at a time.

Another update from her blog: "I am currently pretty backlogged. Right now I am through:9/8/2016. *This date does not include requested materials. I respond to all requested submissions/referrals personally."

Feb 23rd she tweeted an inquiry about how far she is, and she said she thought she was in December queries and would update her blog. No update so far.

I just got a full request from a query in May 2016, so if you still haven't heard, hang in there. I withdrew because I've already started the publication process with this book, but it's good to know she does get back to everyone.

Well, Christa liked my Twitter pitch during the party. Only thing is, she liked the same pitch months ago and I sent my submission. Still no word. Do I resub my old query with an update? Or send a fresh and shiny query. I suppose I've edited it since the last query. It appears she's heavily backlogged.

Pitched through Pages for Agents: 05/16/2016
Full request: 05/29/2016
Rejection: 07/21/2016

Christa was one of my top choices for agents because she seemed interested in YA contemporary romance (at least that's what I observed through reading/researching about her) and I was super excited when she requested my full manuscript from my short pitch. Her response finally came in yesterday, after almost two months of waiting, which I think is a great response time considering there are agents who've had my manuscript since April and still haven't heard back. I'm sad she didn't end up falling in love with the story, although it seemed that she did like it, but I think she gave me some really helpful comments on how to improve my manuscript. If I still need to query for my next project, I'd totally query Christa again!

For those waiting on a response from her for requested material, she mentioned she was a bit behind on reading. Best of luck!

Original Q: Sept 12, 2015 (after a PitMad like)
Partial Req: Feb 9 (150 pgs)
I did nudge her on April 30 and she responded quickly that she was still reading...
Rejection came yesterday (July 7 2016) and it was kind and encouraging, but she is not in love with the story, and I am going to go get a milkshake.
Hope y'all have a good weekend :)
