(11/7) Christa answered within a couple of hours thanking me for following up and saying she had gotten a little backlogged, but my manuscript is currently at the top of her reading list! Keeping everything crossed!

(1/17) "I'm terribly sorry for the delay--this is right at the top of my TBR list, so even though I've been backed up on reading, I should be able to get back to you soon."

E-Mail receipt of query states they will respond to unsolicited queries if they're interested in requesting more materials within 6-8 weeks, but could be as long as 12 weeks.

I think this is officially the longest I've had a full out when the initial query date is taken into consideration.

I had just received some feedback on my novel and asked Christa if she wanted the current version or would mind waiting for my edits to be completed. She said that waiting was fine. I sent her the full manuscript 11/26 and got a personalized email confirmation that same day. No word yet.

EQ (stands for "Electronic Query" right?) : 9/10/2019

I was lucky enough to win a critique with Christa through a twitter mentorship program, "#PBChat Critique Winner."
But when I submitted I received no confirmation note. I was told to send it to her direct email NOT her query email:
Maybe it got lost? When is it appropriate to nudge? I just want to know if it was recieved.

@timeoftimes02 6 months is generally an acceptable time to nudge! :)
