Website makes it clear that they're only interested in established authors.

Robin provided very frank feedback on both the good and workable points of my manuscript. It seems as though she looks for manuscripts that are as close to publication ready as possible. If you have edited your manuscript to the best to your ability and have any inkling that the work might still require a professional copy editor - I would suggest looking elsewhere.

Fast response, though a rejection, via email query.

The guidelines on the website aren't clear. The prerequisites stated makes me think they only want established authors.

"Thank you for giving me the opportunity to see a sample of your manuscript. I'm afraid it isn't something I'd be interested in working on, but that's no indication of its merit or potential appeal to other readers.
Perhaps you know about some of the free online resources available to writers who are looking for literary agents:"

A series of resource links (including this site) follows.
Appreciate the fast turnaround.

Same day rejection on Chain Reaction's requery--she doesn't feel she would have success selling it.

Same day rejection for Venom's requery--she doesn't think she would have success selling Venom. I'll try her this summer with Chain Reaction.

Weird rejection:

I understand that you haven’t sold large quantities of your published books. They ultimately established the sort of readership you’re able to attract for the category in which you’re writing. A less-than-impressive record of sales makes it far more difficult to interest a major publisher in an author's subsequent works. Perhaps a freelance book publicist could have been of some assistance to you. I’m sorry that I can’t.

All I did was list books that I've had previously published in the bio of my query letter. I already know I haven't sold large quantities, which is why I'm trying to go through an agent for my newest manuscript.

Personalized rejection praising specific points in the work and saying that her rejection was a stylistic difference in preferences (and she explained why).

One thing I have to say is that Robin was very transparent during the whole process. She told me immediately that she'd provide confirmation and turnaround time when requesting the full, then did exactly that and to email with any questions. It's so much nicer than when you submit into a vacuum.
