She explained that she took so long because she set my pages aside for more detailed reading, then went on to explain why she feels my book is more suited for MG than YA, and invited me to submit a partial of 100 pages should I make the appropriate revisions.

She requested an old ms of mine twice during #Pitmad fall 2017 and #dvpit 2017, but I never heard back from her. After much debating and crying, I shelved that story and wrote a new one. Then, after pitching my new story in #PitMad March, Jennifer sent me a very kind dm requesting that I query her + first 50 pages + synopsis. She's very behind on her requested materials, but I know she is working very hard to get them read!
