I submitted my query to Jodi on Jan 15. I also emailed her twice since then to remind her and i still have not heard from her. Any suggestions?

@vivianwolkoff - I haven't heard anything from my query sent on April 9. From the timeline, it looks like she's only just caught up with late March. I'd hang in there a bit longer.

Does anyone know if Jodi/Alec is caught up in her queries? I queried her on April 11th and haven't had an answer so far. I just did some follow up with another agent at another agency who never saw my query (it got caught in the spam net). So, I was wondering if the same thing might have happened with Jodi's query letter.

Fantasy 171K

I emailed her directly as opposed to her assistant (not realizing I probably should have emailed him). Since their site says they generally respond within 6-8 weeks I'm going to go ahead and assume mine is being passed or won't be seen. I'd like to start querying other agents with Writers House so I will try Alec the next go round if I have no luck with any of the other agents.
Later received the ER.

@elitemessenger: Alec Shane recently posted on Twitter that he is very behind on queries - "trying to work through the end of January 2017 right now". But I have no idea if that includes Jodi Reamer's queries.

@vivianwolkoff - I queried Ms Reamer recently and sent it to Alec's email address, per her requirements on Publisher's Marketplace. I figured if we're meant to query her directly, she'd update her PM details.

Does anyone know if Alec Shane still is her assistant? I just sent him a query addressed to Ms. Jodi Reamer. I'll feel real stupid if he isn't her assistant anymore?
(I checked here and in a couple of other places, but couldn't find anything conclusive.)

JaeStories: if it's a query, you shouldn't be sending it as an exclusive. She doesn't even get to queries within a month and agents aren't expecting to have exclusives at the query level. (unless I misunderstood your comment).

Hi stargirlap! I've read on forums in the past that people did not hear back when they queried Jodi directly. I would re-query using Alec's e-mail since that's what her guidelines say to do. But expect a response to take quite awhile - I think Alec is really busy as he has his own clients too. I queried Jodi via Alec about 80 days ago (Jan 18th) and am still anxiously awaiting a response! : )

Has anyone who e-mailed Jodi's own e-mail (not her assistant Alec's) gotten a response? Wondering if I should re-query using Alec's e-mail. Thanks!
