Thanks so much for your query. Unfortunately, though, I don't believe I'd be the right agent for your work.

I wish you much success.

LightofBeauty, my guess is she gets less queries since she doesn't have a website. She reads them daily since it's query only, and only responds to fulls she's interested because she hasn't read first pages. She is a reputable agent though, with PM sales. She wouldn't be listed here otherwise. It would be nice if she'd give a timeline though--"If I haven't responded in X months, I'm not interested."

Based on the comments below, querying this agent is such a waste of time, but I queried her anyway, more out of curiosity honestly. Form ER 55 minutes later:

"Thanks so much for your query. Unfortunately, though, I don't believe I'd be the right agent for your work.

I wish you much success."

Makes you wonder if she even reads them. And if she requests fulls, but never communicates with authors or responds back to nudges, makes you wonder how serious she is in considering them. It can take a long time to get a response to a full, sure, but the radio silence is inexcusable. So much about this agent from what I can tell screams either red flag or "don't bother."

Has anyone with a request from the winter or spring heard back? Looking at QT statistics, it looks like there are a lot of fulls lately she hasn't responded to. I'd closed this out but was told on Absolute Write that sometimes it can take an agent a year to respond to a full. Not sure what to do at this point but just let it be.

I haven't, but she's only had it since 6/15. I'm wondering if she responds to fulls she's not interested in.

Has anyone with a full out heard anything recently?

Sent query letter 8/25/2017. Extremely fast response time, she wrote back within about two hours.

Thanks so much for your query. Unfortunately, though, I don't believe I'd be the right agent for your work.
I wish you much success.
Sincerely,
Laura Langlie
