This is just a complete guess, but the merger could very well be a prelude to Mr. Greene's retirement.

Merged with accounting firm Marks-Paneth-Shron in 2009. It's unclear from the article whether he'll continue as a literary agent or provide some other function? If anyone has an email please do share.

Wow, no one queried him in over 2 years. 4/11, I've queried him. Two weeks ago, I nudged him. Now it's officially closed/no response. I've also sent him a query for Chain Reaction today.

11/26: Return to sender, not deliverable as addressed, unable to forward on my follow up letter, I sent out a few weeks ago. The address is correct. Maybe it went belly-up? I'm closing this out as NR and scratching if off my list permanently.

pilot27407: I'm both amazed and in awe. Amazed that you even got a polite time of day after calling this agent (a no-no) and awed that you got a request in the bargain. All this from an agent who is listed here as not accepting unsolicited queries. And, Stephen King's agent to boot. Good for you. And good luck.
