EQJan 12, VERY NICE request for partial on Jan 12 from Emilie Jackson (stating Peter didn't take many new clients, but wanted to read a sample of my stuff).
Rejected: Jan 29
Peter was able to spend some time with it and unfortunately he just doesn't feel he is the right agent to take on this project. We both wish you the best of luck in placing this with another agency.

All my best,

On 10/28, I've closed my query to Sterling Lord. One-and-a-half-months later, I've heard from Peter Matson from Sterling Lord via an postcard rejection. He said, "at the present time, he can't accept new material..." Now it's an official rejection for 12/13/2010.

Although this was an unsol queries now, it wasn't a month ago. On 9/13, I've sent out a snail mail letter and waited a month. Two weeks ago, I've did an email follow up and got no response by now. It's closed.
