There's very little information about Mr. Callahan on the agency website, but his awesome lawnmower picture made be decide to query him anyway.

nudge: 3/2 - received an auto response that he's away from the office and only has intermittent access to email

On 3/20 I emailed again to offer him a look at the revised manuscript.

CNR: 4/10

Seems crazy to me that I'd have a full manuscript out with someone and that person would just not respond to follow-up emails...

Full request. I use ER (email rejection) for rejections to try and keep things straight.

Yay, M_pepper! (Wait, did you mean Full Request or Form Rejection? I always forget which acronym is which. )

Well, as you can see from the comment history -- I had a full out to him during his brief stint at Waxman. I never heard anything back (despite a follow up...clearly it was a transitional time for him...)

So, I re-queried him with the same project after he rejoined the InkWell team, and got a form reject months later from the elusive "staff." Disappointing to say the least.

I now queried my next manuscript, and again got the form reject from the "staff."

Perhaps my spoonful of sugar in all of this is the fact I got a reject at all, seeing how he seems to also be a non-responder.

End story -- I think once I finish writing the next book, I'm going to skip querying Mr. Callahan all together. The experience has been underwhelming (probably for both of us.)
