Lara was very sweet and kind in her personalized rejection that was complimentary and showed that she actually read my entire query package. Her reason for passing may have been pretty form (enjoyed my pitch/sample but not the right fit for her list), but her overall lovely tone and clear professionalism was not - an extreme rarity these days! A lot of times some agents on here are overly praised and hyped for merely only writing a line or two of personalization that is essentially still just a form rejection letter whereas with this agent, the praise/hype is actually well-earned, genuine, and deserved. She's clearly a lovely person and a fantastic agent.
