I don't think "women's issues" (in reading her bio) is the same as women's fiction, but I could be wrong.

1/21/15 incredibly complimentary rejection with invitation to submit revision and keep in touch and she seems interested me as a human being and a writer. sigh.
asked if she was interested in the R&R (she was) and sent the MS 12/7/15
1/7/16 rejection from revised full. I don't know to what extent she agreed with Jenni's comments (see my other entry at Union) because Jenni wrote the email. But I don't think we had the same thing in mind vis-a-vis this novel.
