can't find a viable submission EMAIL address. Maybe one of these days I'll create a snail mail list. Today is not that day.

SQ 4/14/17 (requery Chain Reaction)
SR 5/22/17 (Passed--not right for her.) Will try her with Di later this summer.

Wow, does this agency operate in a cave? Doesn't even have a web site. Guess that makes them at the bottom of the query list.

5/9/16, I sent Marcia Amsterdam my requery for Venom via snail mail. Today I've heard back from her with a pass--not for us. Five years ago, she asked for a request. I'll try her this summer with Chain Reaction.

Snail Mail Query 01/26/2016

Snail Mail Rejection received 02/01/2016

"Sorry Not for us" scrawled in green ink by a shaky hand at the top of the page of the returned query letter.

I can live with an agent still preferring snail mail queries, but what company (highly exclusive or not) in this day in age doesn't have at least a basic website to refer to for more info? Especially when authors are expected to have one?

Oh well, I guess these guys go to the bottom of the list. And I suppose they can't blame anyone but themselves if their guidelines aren't strictly followed. X-/

SQ: 09/05
SR: 09/16

Didn't even get a full page. Got mailed back my query with a slip of paper stating it wasn't what they wanted.

received stock slip of a paper as rejection on 1/22 as everyone else did. For the best, I think.

I know the feeling Mandy. Sounds like a plan. Go for it.

@angel

Thanks, friend! It's funny how lost I am without a website. ha.

I think I'm going to send her the first three chapters, refer to her note of an exclusive basis and just say that I've sent it out prior to receiving her note. If she can't look at it as a result, so be it.

Ok Mandy. Hmm. I thought it might help. GLA might be the way to go or Writers Market.

@angel.

Thanks I checked out the former but didn't find anything too enlightening.
But seeing as though it seems she asked for two week exclusive from most people on here, seems par for the course with this agency.
