EQ: 5/16
Nudge: 6/25
FR (three weeks later after the nudge): 7/17

I was SHOCKED to get a full request (and also a request for a 2-3 page synopsis) from Susan's assistant, Mariah Stovall. This seemed like a total long-shot and I basically gave up on ever getting a response. They said they'll get back to me within 12 weeks and that if I get rep that I notify them asap and they'd expedite their decision if that happens. Wowee-wow. I'm just excited that she's going to be taking a look (and that FINALLY someone from Writers House is interested in taking a look at my whole book)!

9/27 Nudge about offer of rep from another agent, in 1 min Mariah reached back to me congratulating me and saying that she and Susan hope to meet my deadline on 10/8!

10/3 ER

Mariah sent me a note written by Susan herself: she passed for "entirely subjective reasons" (couldn't connect with the execution), but she was mostly very complimentary about my writing, kind with her feedback, and gave me well wishes for my success. Overall I'm happy and satisfied with my correspondence with Mariah and Susan and am honored and flattered that they read and considered my book.

12/1/2017 full and no response yet. Waiting to send a nudge on 4/1. Nudge: 4/5.
After 2nd nudge, Susan Golomb rejected the ms. but sent a very detailed critique. Very nice of her.

I'm still hopeful...though I think she prioritizes "exclusives" and submissions that get offers...the others maybe don't get read until she's cleared through all those. Just speculating!

Same boat. I sent on 12/5 and haven't heard anything. I'd like to query another agent at the Writers House so trying to decide how much longer to wait.

Has anyone heard back from Ms. Golomb on a full sub recently? I submitted mine to her assistant in early November.

Susan Golomb's assistant, Mariah Stovall, requested on Golomb's behalf. She asked for the full manuscript and a 2-3 pages synopsis, and also inquired as to whether the submission was exclusive.

Update: received offer of rep from another agent on 01/15/18. Emailed Susan Golomb's assistant to notify about the offer to see if Susan is interested to read this week to still consider. Assistant said they would read as quickly as possible and let me know.

Original EQ Lit. Fiction to Thomas/Morrison: 2/14
Request for 100 page Partial: 2/16
Rejection with Recommendation to send ("dark") Manuscript to Susan Golomb: 2/18
EQ to SG on 2/22
Full Request: 2/22
Update 1: checked in , nudge in May, still waiting
Update 2: nudged with links to new publications. Received kind email that she's reading. My heart's in my throat because I love the way she works with authors.
Update 3: received late June email thanking me for being patient. Said she's received "good reports" on the MS and is reading.
Update 4: And...personal rejection. Very kind. Long, thoughtful response. Offer to read future work, etc. Feeling hopeless. With a little time under my belt- to get such encouragement from a superstar like her, it's making me feel kind of happy.

Just wanted to leave a quick comment. I nudged a couple of times on this ms and received no reply. Thought it was probably a waste of time to nudge again with offer of representation, but low and behold, this produced a reply. Kind email from assistant Scott Cohen asking if there is still time for her to read, which I granted. Honestly just excited she is even going to take a look!
