Don't be too bummed everyone. That community based email is where their interns are there to weed through the slush, which they also admit on their website if you look for it. Maria Massie herself is very most likely not even reading a single one of them hence is why when querying her or any agent with that mmq email it's like jumping through hoops and sharing your manuscript in piece meal. Not worth getting all disheartened over it.
