wondering if she's incredibly backlogged. I submitted early/mid September of last year and haven't heard anything.

I CNR'd in may of last year but I submitted in September of 2018 and it is now december 2020 and I didn't even get the one word rejection that others have gotten

Queried over a year ago with no response. (Sorry, I don’t have the exact date... but definitely over a year)

10/23/19 sent follow up to check query status (and resent materials)

Same here! With what JTrevorRobinson said, she just sent an e-mail saying "Pass." If you're bothering to reply, you can write one sentence why. The other rejections I've gotten have been very professional stating: thank you for submitting your work, unfortunately it doesn't fit with us, etc. She seems very unprofessional. Don't be discouraged by this! And I don't know if it's because of this, but when you paste your manuscript pages in the online form, it completely screws up the formatting. So I had to literally edit in a Word document very meticulously to get it to paste right for other agents. I wouldn't bother submitting to her. There are plenty of other more professional agents out there who will at least send you a proper response, if they decide to respond. Even though we all want to be published, you don't want it to be with a bad agent. I was with a bad publisher before, because I didn't seek out an agent. Trust me. You want the best agent out there who's professional and going to look out for you and give you the best representation.

Not even a form letter for rejection; just the single word "Pass".

There was an error trying to send your message. Please try again later.

Is anyone else having this problem? Any suggestions?

ER 4/11/19 (Passed with personalized feedback--likes story and has potential, but she felt it was a bit too telly. She did encourage me to resubmit if I wish. I might do it later this summer.)

Congrats Lucy!

She may be incredibly backlogged. I sent a query 4/2 and got a response 7/31 asking if I was still seeking representation. When I said yes, she asked for a full.

EQ: 4/2
FR: 7/31
Offer Of Representation: 8/3
Accepted offer of rep: 8/6
Manuscript in front of acquisitions board 8/17
Offer of publication: 8/30
Manuscript publication date set: November 2019.

YA paranormal. Her responses -- even when interested in something -- are one line so don't read too much into the "thanks I'll pass" form Rs others posted.
