Personal Note: I used to be on here every day and found that it was unhealthy, so once a month or whenever I feel like it, I check to see who I need to nudge. At first, it was hard to do but then I told myself I had to let go and ride the wave.
For some reason, I felt like I had to say that. Perhaps someone needed to hear that advice, I don't know.

CNR: 12/14/2022: So I was skipped twice. What I mean is, I got skipped on my original Query and my Nudge. Hopefully, I'm in a maybe pile.
Something nice to hear: Don't focus on the pain, focus on the progress.
Good luck all!

Query Sent: 10/21/22 #PitDark like
Form Rejection: 12/8/22

"Thank you very much for sending me XXX and thank you for your patience as I considered it.

While this is definitely the kind of project I am interested in, ultimately I wasn’t as taken with your manuscript as I need to be in order to fully get behind it, and so I’m going to pass. I must remain extremely careful to only acquire projects about which I am wildly passionate, and thus I feel it is in your best interest that I step aside and allow you to continue your search for representation elsewhere.

Please remember that this is only one opinion in what is a highly subjective business and another agent may very well feel differently; feel free to query another agent here at Writers House if you think they might be a good fit. Thank you again for thinking of me, and the very best of luck to you in your search for the right agent."

When I got the rejection I was a little heartbroken to read that my work was the type of project he's interested in, but he wasn't taken with my ms. NOW however I feel better seeing that others got the same note.
