Just got the following from Tina's assistant. So nice of them to check in like this!

"Thank you for your query. I aim to read and respond to every query I receive, but due to the volume of queries I received this year, I have fallen behind and won’t be able to read through each of them before Friday when ICM closes its offices for the year.

As such, I am emailing you now to ask that, should you still be interested in having me consider your work, you resend your query along with the first five pages of your manuscript pasted into the body of your email after January 3, 2018.

Note: I am only considering Middle Grade and Young Adult fiction at this time. I am always seeking diverse voices/#ownvoices.

** I do not represent screenplays and will not forward scripts to other agents within the agency. **

Please know that I am grateful for the time and effort that went into your decision to query me, and I hope to be able to respond to queries in a more timely manner in 2018.

Thanks again for your interest. And in the event you haven’t since secured an agent and what you’ve written matches up with what I represent, I look forward to reading your query in 2018."

Sent a personal response that while she loved what I sent her, she's doesn't usually rep chapter books, and felt I should find an agent who does.

Sent another personal response that this time she admired the complexity of the plot but couldn't connect with the character.

Profile Update: Open to queries.

I believe she's still closed, cassbrush. I interacted with her in early April over a manuscript I had revised and she had previously read; I re-queried her about my revision before I realized she had closed. She felt she couldn't take another look and apologized for the delay citing personal reasons. So I don't think there's been a change.

Anyone know if she's open again? Her PM seems to say that she's open to queries, and she last updated the page within the past couple weeks, but I can't seem to find any other info and she hasn't tweeted in a few months.
