Met with Ron's peer Rachel Letofsky at at conference; she suggested I submit my full manuscript directly to Ron.

And to boot, the form rejection was for someone sending a query, not a submission they requested. That's how the industry rolls -- agents are unwilling or unable to provide feedback, even on something they requested, yet they all want writers to learn from feedback.
