Valerie is a very sweet and approachable agent. She remembered my previous draft and asked me to talk about my journey and the changes I made for the new revision. When I replied, she said that she was looking forward to reading. What really struck me was that she also said, "Thank you for giving me another chance." Anyone who works with Valerie is very lucky!

To Katiekat1758: Yes, Donaghy Literary Group accepts US submissions. Stacey Donaghy is based in Canada, but most of her agents actually live in the US. Many agents outside the US will represent authors from outside and vice versa, everything is so digital now. Still good to check before querying, tho!

Thank you for sending your query. Unfortunately, I have to pass on this as it is not quite the right fit for me. I wish you the best success as you move forward in search of the right home for your work.
