Caitie has been closed for a long while. Does anyone know when she will reopen for queries?

WriteOnCon request! YA fantasy 70k

PR: Sent 2/23/18
Asked her if she'd like to see revised version of MS from agent feedback - she sent back a kind note that she'd love to see!
Revision of first 50 pages sent 5/26/18
ER: 10/16/19
Caitie sent me a really kind message with what she thought of my pages, and apologized for the long wait - I'll definitely query her again!

EQ: 2-11-19 (after writeoncon where she mentioned liking my query during a query crit session)
PR: 9-6-19 (yay!)

Ms. Caitie mentioned her medical leave being longer (which is why the query to request time was longer). I'm glad she's feeling better now and hope she continues to!

From Twitter June 1, 2018: "I am technically open to queries again, but I am still on medical leave, so responses are still going to be very delayed. Thanks for your patience as I heal."

Wow, that tweet is scary. I won't be querying her.

Thanks horrorchix and whitegardenia. I just added her to my "do not query" list. Being a querying writer is hard enough without hearing the take-it-or-leave-it comments from an agent. Would you really want this person representing you? Not me!

@WhiteGardenia: that explains her snarkiness to me when I nudged her after 6 months on a partial (#DVpit spring 2017). She said it went to the back of the list. Then she “liked” my pitch in the fall DVPit. I told her she already had my partial but I edited the pages. I asked if I should send the new pages or wait and she replied as if I was bothering her.

This, from her Twitter feed:
"I don't read if I am in a shitty mood. I don't think it's fair to authors. With the state of the world, I'm almost always in a shitty mood. Writers who complain - would you rather I read when I'm pissed and don't care? Or do you want me to give your work a fair shot?"

And: "Y'all, my policy is don't follow up unless you have an offer or you'll get read later. If you don't like it, just don't query me?"
