Per submission guidelines, resent query: 10/11
(I know she's currently closed, but hopefully since my original query was before she closed, she'll consider it)
Update: asked Heather about it on Twitter (she's super sweet!). She said not to worry about it, she'll read my resend <3
CNR: 11/13

She may still answer my query someday, but I'm just going to close it out for now so I can move on.

"Thank you for your message! I am out of the office and at a conference from October 19th - 22nd, with very limited access to email. Unless your message is urgent, I’ll respond once back at my desk on Tuesday, October 23rd. "

meanwhile, I've begun an R&R for another project! O.O

Heather requested my full MG fantasy, once revised and shorter, at a conference in Oct 2017. Queried according to agency's cold query guidelines but with conference name in header and asking if she was still interested in MG fantasy and the full. No reply, no auto-response on submission.

Queried Heather with a different project (SF/Thriller) earlier this year, which she ultimately declined based on length, but she invited me to query again with future projects. She was very nice and was the only agent to give a personalized response saying why she was passing, which I found very helpful. Rejections are never pleasant so its nice to receive feedback now and then. Yes, fiction is highly subjective, but a personalized rejection might help you spot a problem you were never aware of.

1/9/18 - been over 100 Days. CNR.
Checked my junk mail, and realized she replied with a full request on 1/8/18 (ironically, one day before I marked it CNR!). Sent full 1/19/18
Nudged 9/17/18. Less than an hour later I got an email: apology for wait, would love to see more from me in the future, but rejection.

Personalized rejection 9/14/18 after a nudge.

Judging by the full I had out with her last year for a different MS that I never heard back on, she often seems to be a no responder to fulls. You may need to nudge to get a response.

I certainly hope Heather starts reading all the manuscripts soon. I've been waiting to hear from a full request for awhile now.

Based on the 4-week rule, I suppose it is time to call this a CNR. Time to query other agents at Bent.

@holdthemellish No, it does not apply to fulls. They actually always had the 4 week rule for queries on the site, but they don't specify a timeframe for fulls. An issue that had come up among commenters that many people had never received a response to fulls at all, and no responses to nudges. Thus, timeframe is unclear. I think the general standard for agents to get back on a full is 3 months before you nudge, but 6 months is not uncommon. However, some people have been waiting much longer than that.
