Received a rejection two days after querying, but I couldn't have asked for a better one. Heather was so kind and encouraging.

EQ: 1/30 (I queried Jenny Bent--referral)
FR: 1/30
03/14 Jenny said she'd passed on the MS to Heather... not sure how to mark it. I put it as full request on referral, too. Heather said the premise was right up her alley.

@gwmartins: That's what I did. I figure if guidelines say agents respond in a month and you gave her two chances to do that, it probably means she isn't interested. Plus, it looks like she usually makes requests pretty quickly.

LayneSarkey, I submitted my full about the same time that you did and haven't heard back. I also submitted in November but see that she's been slow to get back to other people too. So, I'm half giving up, half holding on. It's not over yet for you. Best of luck.

FR for Contest: 11/3/16 (Sent 11/9/16)
Nudge: 1/12/17 (in same email thread, which I've since read isn't the right way to go?)
2nd Nudge: 2/18/17 (wouldn't normally do this, but the agency website says they try to respond to every request, so I don't know)
Fingers crossed. Really don't want to call it on this one; it's hard to CNR a full request with a great agent...

Guys, a little help, please. I sent a query last year that went unanswered for a couple of months, so as per the guidelines of the website, I resent it. Now it's been over a month that I've resent the query. Should I just CNR and query someone else or do you think she's just running a little late on query responses?

Thanks, EMBmom - that's what I hoped to hear!

In my opinion, yes (assuming you've given the first agent a reasonably long amount of time before CNR). TBA seems very open to quering another agent if the first one passes.
Good luck.

CNR'ed. Safe to query another agent at Bent or is that rude?

Ditto with the long wait. Sent mine in Nov also. Going to follow up in late Feb at the 3 month mark, but I'm gonna guess it'll be till April before I get an answer.
