Rom-Com 91K not his typical genre, but a blog post said he was looking for one and I'm a fan.

Rejection was via Tweet that PS had read all queries up through May 5. I saw a comment by tremendousotter. Annoying that they can't spend 1 minute writing a form rejection email.

According to the PS Literary Twitter they're all caught up through May 5th.

CNR: 5/13/20 - he seems to be pretty speedy when he's interested, so I suspect this is a no.

I don't normally close queries quickly but I have an extension that shows when emails are opened and I also know Mr. Smith tends to request quickly after reading. My email shows he opened mine yesterday (5-6-20) so I'm assuming it's a pass. Don't know if that means he caught up to May 5th or not though! Good luck everyone!

2/22/2020: Responded to one of Eric's tweets where he expressed interest in reading an adult book about working in game dev, asked if he'd considered a contemporary romance, he said yes. Submitted a query letter via email and got a full request in 4 minutes (So fast!). Sent over same day.
4/16/2020: Rejection with brief, kind note. "Not a right fit."

A tweet on April 10th from P.S. Literary, Eric's agency, says all queries through March 31st have been read and requested if interested. So, if your query is before then and you haven't heard, it implies it's a no.

I think I screwed this one up. I missed their rigid query letter guidelines - I'm usually super specific about adhering to guidelines and feel bad about missing these but, oh well, sometimes you make a mistake!

@dixiejen: I always treat agency guidelines as law. Better to err on the side of caution for this one.

Question: they have very specific guidelines for their query letters. Are they using that as a full-stop requirement (don't deviate from this) or more "this is kinda how a query letter should look"? (I'm assuming the first)
