I found the same email in my spam folder. I could not find the email address I originally wrote to (query@bresnickagency.com) on the current submissions page on their website, so perhaps they know that the address has been hacked in some way.

Email in my spam folder:

Hello ,

The important information for you. See the attachment to the email.

Password - XXXXXXX

Thanks,

Paul

I received this response as well.

Thanks,

Very strange indeed. My computer is warning me against opening the file, could they have been hacked? I'm curious to know what's in the file but don't want to risk my computer.

I received the following response
"Dear _____, The important information for you. See the attachment to the email.
Password - xxxxxxx
Thanks,
Paul", with a zip file attached. I'm not going to open the zip file because I suspect the email account may have been hacked. If it's not a hacking situation, then the response is so strange that I'm not really interested.

AlHayat, at least you've heard from him. I'm still waiting to hear from him on my 10/30/15 query. I'll be nudging him real soon.

2/26/16--On 10/30/15, I've queried Matthew Di Gangi with Venom. After two weeks with my nudge, it's a CNR. I'll try him with Chain Reaction this spring.
5/12/16--On 3/28/16, I've queried him with Chain Reaction. After a two-week nudge, another CNR. I'll try Lisa Kopel this spring with Venom's requery.

He apologized for missing the first query. Said his personal inbox is always full and sometimes he misses queries sent to the general agency email. In any event, my ms is not for him.
Bummed, but at least he was nice about it.
