@smopit and @DrFaeirieGodmother I sent a query 57 days ago (5/9/2019) and have not heard back. Based on her timeline, I'm thinking she's running behind or has had to move to a "no response no interest" tactic for the summer, which is understandable. Given that she had made some more recent requests, I'm thinking it's the latter. I'll CNR at 60 days.

UPDATE 7/10/2019: I received a form rejection two days after I CNR'd . . . LOL. For those still waiting, it looks like she is working to catch up on her responses, so don't lose hope--and good luck!

Catsamoa79 That's so sad. I'm sorry that's happened to you, since I'm pretty sure sending a rejection in QM is as easy a pressing a button. :(

dorrie6 - I have definitely had CNR's via Query Manager, even after sending a follow up note via the message box.

Personally, I'd never CNR a Query Manager query. I think the interface makes it really easy to reject, and though she looks like she's still backed up to at least April, I would expect she'll respond to everyone eventually. I've gotten responses many months later on QM queries, but I've never had a true CNR.

Also, remember that the ALAAC was two weekends ago, and then practically all of last week was a holiday week as well. And this is the writer's conference season. So, although my query is at 60 days as of today, I'm not quite giving up hope yet. I may sit on it patiently for up to 90 days before I close it.

I sent mine 05/06/2019 and no response. I'm wondering if she moved to a no response means no when I wasn't looking.

Has it taken anyone more than 6 weeks to hear back? I sent a query on 5/21 but haven't gotten a response yet.
