I swear I added a comment here! Guess not.

1/9/17 EQ (online form)
51k Upper MG Magic Real.

2/9/17 Partial request!
11/12/18 Personalized rejection. She apologized for the delay and had some solid feedback for me. It sounds like it's been a rough couple of years for her. Funny, when I sent the request, I couldn't even imagine that it'd be possible to forget I had a partial out...But here I am, nearly 2 years later, and I completely forgot about that partial. Keep

She asked that, if possible, I copy the original query (and bio, since that was asked for in the online form) into the beginning of a single Word document (synopsis and 1st 50 pages). Definitely save a copy of your query, especially if it's personalized, in the Letter tab of QT. I was able to copy/paste both my bio and query by lifting it from here, since the form didn't kick back my quoted text. The request email had a link to the online form, so the materials were also submitted via form. I did ask her a question using the "contact" button on the form and she replied right away. She also let me know as soon as she got my requested materials. I tried replying to her receipt confirmation email, and as I suspected, the email address didn't work. You have to communicate via form.

Moe seems like a great person to work with. Even if I get rejected in the end, I'm thrilled that I got a chance to interact with her a bit.

Just received a rejection on my partial manuscript Moe requested back in Feb. 2017. Yes, 21 months ago. She gave me feedback (nice, although I trunked this novel a long while back) and apologized for the delay. Better late than never?

FR (!!!!!!): 4/3/18 sent same day
I sent a message through QT and said that I had a revised version of the manuscript if she'd like to read. That was a few months ago - no response.

She's either really backed up or is exceptionally slow or both. I queried on March 28, 2018 with a contemporary romance and just got the rejection notice today, 11/5/18

I wouldn't lose all hope yesrielee and MReyesWrites. She takes a long time, but every so often she does get back to people. She's only had mine since this past June, so I guess I ought to settle in for a long wait.

Nope. It’s been well over year for me since she has requested (August 2017). I’ve definitely already closed this one out.

Nothing, @worddance. I'm thinking about giving up on this one.

Curious, has she responded to anyone's full or partials lately?

**May 2018- I checked in and she still hadn't gotten to my story. She apologized, explaining she's had a very tough year with "personal" stuff.
8/18/18 - Still waiting... It's been almost a year now, but her last response in May said she's still going to read it.

EQ for an #MSWL on 5/30/15 YA Fantasy, 68k
Update: I participated in her Reddit event. Because I'd previously queried her she didn't give me a rejection / request on the form, and said it come by e-mail. It hasn't yet. :) But her comments sounded positive, so I'm hopeful! I mean... I'm sort of biting my nails, actually. I've got a few partials and fulls out now, and Moe is literally everything I want in an Agent, so I'm hoping that if she does request, she does so soon.
6/18/15: FULL REQUEST :D :D :D
8/11/15: R&R on the full, sent 10/7
10/7/15: R&R resubmitted. no confirmation email (but I understand this is typical.)
3/16/2017: unrelated, but I won PitchMadness 2016
5/3/16: Withdrew -- after the JKR "accidentally makes the history of the wizarding world in North America racist as hell" debacle, I wanted to critically re-examine my MS.

6/13/2017: Re-queried with revised MS. She's still my #1 choice. I'm a little surprised to hear that she's behind enough that she might not have even read my original sub if I hadn't withdrawn, but I am at peace with the decisions I've made. (For reference, this project went from being a 68k YAF to a 102k adult SF... yeah. it's been a long couple of years, lol.)

6/24/17: met and pitched in person at Writing Day Workshop Chicago. Full Req + Synopsis.

As I've expected, Moe's an absolute delight and I feel so privileged just to have worked with her in the capacity I have. Yes, she IS very behind, but she is working through submissions now. If you haven't heard anything, I wouldn't take no answer as no quite yet.

9/22/18: Sent a nudge, seeing as it’s now been a year longer than what she told me in person. I’m considering doing some more revision work on the project so I hope she gets back with me before the end of the year, even if it’s just to say she hasn’t read it yet.

6/27/18: EQ (through online form)
9/6/16: PR
1/10/17: Nudge (she replied 1/19/17)
7/6/17: Nudge (she replied 7/25/18)
5/1/18: Nudge
8/31/18: ER

Despite the long wait time, Moe was very nice and responsive, and I would consider querying her again.

Is there a more effective yet still professional way to contact Moe Ferrara? I've had a full with her since April 2017 and in February 2018 I sent a couple nudges via Query Manager, but she never responded.
