Always verify agent's information before sending your query. Verify the agent's query preferences, contact information, genres of interest, and if the agent is still open to queries.

Although QueryTracker tries to stay current, it is not always easy. Never trust any single source for agent information (and yes, this includes QueryTracker).

Review the user comments for more information, and always follow exactly what it says on the agent's website.

And NEVER give money to an "agent".

Leave comments about your experiences with this literary agent, or read what other authors have to say.

Thanks for the clarification, Wordologist.

@Imtuss --- I found it on the FAQs, that's in question # 3 I think :) That page is actually more clearer than the submissions page. The questions are on a list, not like the paragraph form of their Sub guidelines.

Thanks, Wordologist.

I didn't see that on their website.

This is on their submissions page:
"Please be sure to query only one agent at this agency. We will not review queries sent to more than one of us."

@Imtuss -- I think they are. From their website:

"Please do not submit to more than one of us whether simultaneously or in succession."

Does anyone know if a no from one agent = a no from the whole agency?

Gotta love those "Dear Author" replies -- I like that he puts his new phone number at the bottom of his rejections.

YA - Contemporary fantasy

EQ 2.16.16
FR 2.17.16
Sent Full 2.19.16
They requested a Bio 2.23.16
R & R 3.1.16

I queried his assistant, Erin Young, not Michael. All correspondence was with her and Michael was not mentioned. I suggested to Query Tracker to add Erin Young to be more specific but they wanted to keep her as assistant.

She said, and I quote "I can't tell you how much I enjoyed this novel," but that she "just doesn't know how receptive the YA market is to this kind of novel, which not being fully fantasy- it's set on Earth- it comes off as Paranormal. While this kind of book would have flown off the shelves a few years ago, it's just not something that's currently selling."

Just my luck. Looking into how I can make these revisions (if even possible) now.
