Always verify agent's information before sending your query. Verify the agent's query preferences, contact information, genres of interest, and if the agent is still open to queries.

Although QueryTracker tries to stay current, it is not always easy. Never trust any single source for agent information (and yes, this includes QueryTracker).

Review the user comments for more information, and always follow exactly what it says on the agent's website.

And NEVER give money to an "agent".

Leave comments about your experiences with this literary agent, or read what other authors have to say.

I'm really crossing my fingers on this one. He seems like a great guy and agent from what I've read.

Would be a perfect fit for my mystery novel.

Same day rejection--he passed, overwhelmed with current clientele list. I might try him this summer with Chain Reaction after I do Joyce Holland next month with Venom.

Although he rejected my work, he went the extra mile to help me. he did not have to do this, he could have just rejected me out of hand like most agents, but he didn't.
I highly recommend that anyone with a Non-fiction work give him a shot, really.

Lightning fast! I've had a book published before with Adams Media without an agent, and he said the Bookscan numbers just weren't good enough for him to take a chance on this new one. But he said other agents might disagree and wished me well, so not the worst rejection ever.

Visited the web site ... he didn't say he wasn't accepting queries, but was selective and specific about whom he was willing to read. I took a chance ... but nice that he did respond so graciously.

I wish you well with another agent.

Don't give up just yet. Bob's a very popular agent. May take another couple of months. I suggest following up every couple of weeks.
